'Good trouble' rally on Thursday

A "good trouble” rally is scheduled at the intersection of U.S. 95 and Appleway Avenue from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Inspired by the late civil rights leader and former congressman John Lewis, the nationwide event protests the dismantling of First Amendment rights and the erosion of voting rights, a press release said.

"We’ll join Americans from all 50 states across the country in hundreds of locations to demonstrate the power of peaceful, nonviolent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change," the release said.
