PRESS: Life in Coeur d’Alene

I want to drop a suggestion for the Sunday paper. It is not original but well worth emulating.

I get the Sunday New York Times as my Xmas gift from my daughter. Besides the puzzles, my favorite read is the Metropolitan Diary. It is anecdotal, sometimes sensitive and often smile worthy stories of life in NYC. 

In this time of sadness in our city, I appreciate the positivity of articles that lift up rather than inflame our current divide. I would love to invite our locals and visitors to share short observations or yarns or lessons they have lived in North Idaho. I always feel enriched or reflective when I close that page. 

We need this now more than ever. Past and future should be embraced and celebrated.
