GRANT: Thank you, Women’s Gift Alliance!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news that will have a lasting impact on Lake City Center and the many community members we serve.

Thanks to an incredibly generous $30,000 grant from the Women’s Gift Alliance, our beloved banquet room is about to receive a much-needed transformation. On behalf of our Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and the hundreds of seniors who walk through our doors each week, we extend our deepest gratitude for this powerful investment in our center and community.

Our banquet room is far more than just a gathering space — it is truly the heart of Lake City Center. It’s where seniors come together to share meals, form friendships, and celebrate life’s everyday moments. It’s also where we host critical fundraising events that support programs like home-delivered meals and congregate dining.

Over the years, this space has served thousands. But like many well-loved places, time has taken its toll. The Women’s Gift Alliance’s support allows us to move forward with plans to modernize the room with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, updated lighting and window screening. These improvements will help create a space that is more welcoming, functional, and inclusive for all.

Most importantly, this renovation will ensure that every person who walks through our doors, regardless of age, income or mobility, has a dignified, safe and joyful place to connect, celebrate and thrive.
