Tubbs Hill cleanup on Saturday

Fourth of July activities tend to leave a bit of a mess behind on Tubbs Hill, so volunteers will be picking up any trash.

The annual Fifth of July cleanup on Tubbs Hill is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Anyone who wants to help can meet at the Third Street entrance to Tubbs. 

Garbage bags will be provided. Gloves are encouraged. Volunteers will fan out and scour the hill for any litter.

Huckleberry ice cream will be served starting at 11 a.m.
