Leslie 'Les' Albert Price, 80

| July 2, 2025 1:00 AM

Leslie Albert Price passed away peacefully Sunday, June 22, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Known affectionately as “Les,” he was born April 23, 1945, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Mary Jean Lee and Alfred Darrel Price.

Les entered the world during a time of great change, and over the course of his 80 years, he witnessed a remarkable transformation. Yet through it all, his steadfast values of love, family, and resilience never wavered. He lived a life of quiet strength and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Les was a devoted husband to Claire Price, the love of his life and his lifelong companion. Together, they created more than a home — they built a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Their enduring partnership was a testament to commitment, respect and a deep, abiding bond that stood the test of time.

His legacy lives on through his three sons: Ted (Connie) Price, Steven (Kimberly) Price, and Kevin (Diana) Price. Each of them carries forward a part of their father’s wisdom, strength, and gentle determination. Through them, Les was blessed with one of his greatest joys — his grandchildren: Parker, Dawson, Hunter, Hayden, Brittney, Kayleen, Sydney, Hannah, Lauren and Baylee. His pride in each of them was immeasurable and his love was always close, even in quiet moments. Les was also the proud great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren and is survived by his brothers, Jim (Susan) Price and Curt Price. His family was his heart, and he carried each of them with him, always.

We invite all who knew and loved him to visit his online memorial at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com to honor his memory and share stories that capture his incredible spirit. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of North Idaho Schneidmiller House (www.hospiceofnorthidaho.com).

Leslie Albert Price will be remembered for the love he gave, the strength he showed, and the legacy he leaves behind in the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
