Joe was the eldest child of Joe and Marion Dudley when Joe Sr. suddenly passed away. Marion married Chuck Snyder and moved the family to Bellingham, Wash., until Joe was 13 years old. They sold the farm in Bellingham and moved to Coeur d'Alene after Chuck accepted a new job opportunity. Joe attended Coeur d'Alene High School and then proudly enlisted in the United States Army in 1972, serving his country for four years.

Joe was currently with Century 21 Beutler & Associates in Coeur d’Alene. He won countless awards in real estate for Best Salesman.

Joe met the love of his life, Loretta (Ortiz) Snyder, and was married in 1989. They moved to Marysville, Wash., in 1990, where they resided for 20 years, but eventually returned home to Coeur d’Alene in 2010.

Joe loved the outdoors and taking his loved ones fishing or crabbing on the docks in Washington. He enjoyed camping with friends and family. He was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Joe enjoyed playing board games with everyone. He was a card shark and would never pass up a game of 31, Hearts, Rummy, or Spades.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta; his children: Greg Rishor, Tim Rishor, Becky (Greg) Holt, Jeannie (James) Hook, Heidi (Luke) Lounsbury; siblings: Diane Bloomquist, Chuck (Rhonda) Snyder, Ed (Teresa) Snyder, Patricia Snyder; brother-in-law: Joe Ortiz; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
