HAZEL: Appreciate 100-year look back

Thank you Crista Hazel for your recent guest opinion, taking us back 100 years with glimpses of how Coeur d’Alene celebrated Christmas in 1925.  While reading, images of those celebrations were painted in my mind. I like to think the attendees were all dressed in their Sunday best and that many of the gifts exchanged were homemade and heartfelt.

I agree that community bonds still hold our area together, which is only one of the reasons so many people now claim Kootenai County as their own. We are blessed indeed to live here.
