No school for many in North Idaho amid extreme weather

Schools throughout North Idaho are closed Wednesday due to extreme weather conditions and power outages throughout the region.

Districts that have made official announcements include:

• Coeur d’Alene Public Schools, including School PLUS and Early PLUS childcare programs
• Lakeland Joint School District No. 272, including BASE Program and Preschool 
• Post Falls School District
• North Idaho Christian School 
• Lake Pend Oreille School District
• Kellogg School District
• Wallace School District
• Lewiston School District
