FASCISM: Democracy is in peril
In response to Ethyl Steinmetz Marmont, let’s first define fascism. According to Webster, fascism is “a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and race over the individual and stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”
Yes, we are witnessing the potential loss of our democracy and the genesis is the “lawfare” instituted by previous administrations. Many young people struggle to make a decent living and afford a home, I did and so did my parents. I had a great paying job in construction years ago until illegal aliens took over the industry, causing wages to plummet. That is why Cesar Chavez, who started the United Farm Workers Union, opposed illegal immigration.
Tariffs will make some cheap foreign goods more expensive possibly facilitating goods made in America by Americans earning a decent wage. Tariffs by other countries have limited our ability to export goods made by Americans, in America. Retirees living on fixed incomes and possibly losing some Medicaid benefits are a direct result of limited resources used up by inflation caused by poor economic policies of a centralized government and medical resources abused by those here illegally.
If our homes lose 70% of their value in the coming months they were overvalued to begin with and the policy of printing dollars by prior administrations is the direct cause of that inflationary cycle. The fear mongering regarding vaccinations is simply untrue. If measles and other communicable diseases are on the rise, is it possible that the tens of millions of undocumented flooding into our country are the root cause? Limiting FEMA funds and requiring states to adopt responsibility limits the federal government and causes more power to localized governments, the antithesis of fascism.
Yes, wake up Idahoans. Our democracy is in peril and the fascism of the prior administrations posed the greatest threat by the lawfare and clear abuse of power and should be front-page news exposing all their crimes. They are the oligarchs and the Big Brother of Orwell.
