Kootenai County commissioners approve $144 million budget
Kootenai County Commissioner Marc Eberlein convened with the board Wednesday night to approve the budget for fiscal year 2026.
COEUR d’ALENE — Kootenai County commissioners voted Wednesday night to approve the county’s fiscal year 2026 budget, which includes levying 2.5% more taxes.
Commissioners voted unanimously in favor of the $144 million budget. The budget is about 10% larger than the budget for fiscal year 2025.
