TRADE: Ending the war on Ukraine

This latest meeting between Trump, Putin and Zelinsky along with other world leaders accomplished nothing. Putin is still carrying out his war on Ukraine. Russia wants Ukraine to give up the Dometst and Maripol regions they now control. This is Ukraine’s “breadbasket” of major resources: grain, coal and rare earth minerals.

A possible solution to Putin’s war would be a trade agreement with Russia for these resources. Simply stated, Ukraine would negotiate trade agreements with Russia for the sale of these resources. Russia would get access to these resources, Ukraine would receive revenue, and keep their land.
