Open house set on Post Falls transportation plan

| August 17, 2025 1:00 AM

POST FALLS — The city of Post Falls is inviting residents to attend an open house to learn about updates to the transportation master plan. It is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at 408 N. Spokane St.

It is suggested that transportation master plans be updated every five to 10 years to evaluate new transportation and growth data as well as identify priority roadways and intersections for improvement, a press release said.

The Post Falls Transportation Plan will review and incorporate key elements, including traffic modeling, public/user experience, public transit, regional connectivity and bike and pedestrian safety and routes.

The city last updated the plan in 2017.

The meeting will be held as a drop-by open house at City Hall with team members available to answer questions.
