Windermere Coeur d'Alene Realty to support backpack program

Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty is partnering with the Coeur d'Alene Backpack Program and the Windermere Foundation to host a free back-to-school celebration from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 21 in the upper parking lot at 1000 Northwest Blvd.

Each child in attendance will receive a backpack with a personalized charm or patch, school supplies and a barbecue lunch and refreshments. Haircuts will also be available.

The event will also feature bounce houses, crafts, face painting and a dunk tank.

Qualifying voucher submittal is required to ensure adequate supplies for every student.

Entry is free, and donations are welcome to help “pay it forward” to even more families.

The Coeur d'Alene Backpack Program supports students with school essentials and helps feed children throughout the year.
