NOISE: Cars are too loud

There were 6 noise citations written in May for all of Coeur d’ Alene, 6 in June and 6 through July 30. Are you kidding me! That number could easily be reached downtown on any Friday night. Last Friday night was particularly noisy. Many of the cars from Washington and Idaho have exhausts that sound like fireworks going off. Around 8:45 p.m. between 6th and 7th on Front Avenue, one sounded like a bomb exploding. I am sure it was heard throughout the city. I know the police are very busy, but this problem needs to be taken more seriously. IT’S THE LAW!
