Man gets prison for judge threat

COEUR d’ALENE – A 28-year-old man was sentenced to 96 months in federal prison and three years’ supervised release July 31 for, with the intent to retaliate, threatening to murder, assault, or kidnap a federal judge and a federal prosecutor, announced U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford for the District of Oregon. 

The court ordered the sentence to be served consecutively to two prior sentences in 2020 and 2022 for similar convictions in the District of Idaho, a press release said.
