Open Arms Clinic announces new executive director
HAYDEN — Open Arms Real Choices Clinic has announced the appointment of Vicki Scribner as its new executive director.
Scribner steps into the leadership role after nearly a decade of service to the organization.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would one day become the executive director,” she said in a press release. “But God’s plans are always greater than our own. From the moment I stepped through the doors at Open Arms, he captured my heart for this mission.”
Her journey with Open Arms began in 2016 after having recently re-entered the workforce after raising her children.
Scribner said she felt a calling to serve in the pro-life ministry and began volunteering as a client advocate in 2017.
Her connection to Open Arms turned into a full-time calling as Scribner soon joined the staff as client services manager in 2018, and was promoted to director of client services in 2019.
Scribner has played a pivotal role in developing and expanding Open Arms’ clinical services alongside a dedicated team of nurses and has grown the organization to meet the evolving needs of women in the community, offering free, confidential, and compassionate pregnancy support and life-affirming care, the release said.
“Our staff used to wear many hats to serve every woman who walked through our doors,” Scribner said. “That foundation has given me a deep understanding of all aspects of the ministry and prepared me for this role.”
Open Arms Real Choices Clinic's mission is to provide education, support and resources for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
