Bayview to celebrate life of Brent Justus tonight

BAYVIEW — A celebration of life for Brent Justus is set for 6 tonight at Lakeland RV Park, 20139 E. Perimeter Road.

Justus and his mother, 72-year-old Liz Justus, were rescued by neighbors from a house fire in the early morning hours of July 19. Brent succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire after being evacuated from the home.

Liz Justus received extensive medical care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

"Help us show Liz some Bayview love and celebrate the life of Brent," a press release said.

A Cascadia Pizza truck will be on site to help raise money for Justus's surviving family, as well as cash donation boxes. Local band Prairie Fire will be performing; attendees are asked to bring their own chairs and beverages.

Donations can also be made through Venmo to @Lisa-Justus-8.
