'Gems and Jeans' to benefit SNR

COEUR d’ALENE — Specialized Needs Recreation is celebrating 41 years at its annual Gems and Jeans fundraiser Sept. 25 at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn.

The evening will feature auctions, entertainment and surprises in support of SNR’s mission to create joyful experiences for people with disabilities.

Early bird tickets are available through Friday at $75 per ticket.

“Specialized Needs Recreation holds a special place in my heart,” said longtime board member Susie Brott. “I have worked with this group for many years and the positive impact that this organization makes in the lives of individuals with special needs is unmatched."

SNR offers programs from bowling, pickleball and basketball to summer camps and cooking to help clients build life skills.
