Scare up some Halloween fun at these spooky local events

TODAY

Witching Hour Watch Party, 1-3 p.m. at Cd'A Public Library. Spooky crafts and movie magic geared toward children 14 and older. 

Harvest Festival in Post Falls, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 1810 Charlesville Road. Free event for elementary school-aged children, games, hot drinks, candy and more. 

Trunk or Treat in Post Falls, 6-7:30 p.m. Hosted by the Boys and Girls Club at 200 W. Mullan Ave. Costumes, decorated trunks and free admission. 

Please note: Trunk or Treat with DS Connections Northwest has been CANCELED due to weather conditions. 

THURSDAY

Trick or treating at Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center at 2678 W. Cessna Ave. in Hayden. Stop by from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in costume and receive a treat bag for completing a coloring sheet or scavenger hunt. 

Trick or Treat Downtown Cd'A. Free trick or treating event from 4 to 6 p.m. with participating downtown Cd'A businesses.

Fall Fest at The River Church in Post Falls, 6-8 p.m. Games, food, prizes and more free family fun at 1687 E. Horsehaven Ave. 

Trunk or Treat at Human Rights Education Center, 4-7 p.m. at 414 W. Fort Grounds Drive in Cd'A. Free event with over two dozen vendors, plus a movie, popcorn and apple cider for kids at 1 p.m.

Haunted Motel and Trunk or Treat event at Stardust Wallace from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Free fun for all, including candy, photo booths, a haunted maze and more. 

Trunk or Treat in Kellogg, 6-7 p.m. Free event sponsored by Kellogg Police Department at 220 Morning Star Drive. 

Trick or Treat in Harrison, 9 a.m. to noon at Arrow Point Fire Station. Free event with candy, goodie bags and firetrucks. 

Trunk or Treat at Harrison City Park, 5-7 p.m. Free family event celebrating its fifth year, candy donations are appreciated. 

Trunk or Treat in St. Maries, 4:30-6 p.m. at Elks Lodge No. 1418. Trunks will line Sixth Street through Ninth Street, candy donations appreciated by Elks Lodge.
