Idaho rejects Prop 1
COEUR d’ALENE — Idaho voters roundly rejected Proposition 1 on Tuesday night. The ballot initiative would’ve opened Idaho’s primary elections to all voters and implemented ranked choice voting in general elections.
More than 618,000 voters, close to 70% of the total, voted no on Proposition 1. Only about 30% of voters cast their ballots in favor of the initiative.
