LEGION BASEBALL: Lums fall to Badlands

MISSOULA, Mont. — Ty Shepard and Nolan Christ had back-to-back RBI doubles for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen in the bottom of the fifth inning in a 9-2 loss to the Badland Badgers of Oyen, Alberta in the Missoula Mavericks Memorial Day Tournament at Mavericks Field on Sunday.

Alex Maloney had a three-run single in the fourth inning for Badlands.

Coeur d’Alene (0-3), which walked 13 in the game, faces the Helena Senators today to conclude tournament play.
