TownPlace Suites opens Thursday in Coeur d'Alene

With several room categories on four floors, TownPlace Suites by Marriott Hotel will open Thursday, May 30, on Northwest Boulevard just south of Interstate 90.

With six room types with optional amenities, the hotel includes various room sizes and views of mountains and filtered lake views and fully equipped kitchens. Included are a complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, business services such as printing, copying and high-speed internet access, barbecue and patio areas and pet-friendly options.

Hayden Lake Physical Therapy & Aquatics opens in Post Falls

With physical and aquatic therapy, Hayden Lake Physical Therapy & Aquatics has opened a new location at 3922 E. Early Dawn Ave. in Post Falls.

The 93-degree pool includes a treadmill to reduce impact on the joints with other specialties of ASTYM, postural restoration and dry needling with seven private treatment rooms and a fully equipped therapy gym. With three locations, Hayden Lake Physical Therapy has served the community for 25 years. Cōpow Foods opens off Costco complex

The grand opening for Cōpow Foods will be Friday in the multi-business complex near Costco at 3500 N. Government Way (Suite 108).

The storefront market offers fresh, sustainable organic grab-and-go meals, locally sourced artisan foods and imported specialty goods with co-founders Evie and Casey Fatz. For every meal sold, they donate a meal through nonprofit The Brighter Life Foundation.

• A Fernan Farmers' Market will be noon to 4 p.m. Sundays May 5 to Sept. 29 at Lake Village Lodge at 320 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive. 

• With the groundbreaking for new buildings for Grocery Outlet and 7-Eleven stores, North Point Plaza is being constructed in the northeast corner of Highway 41 and Poleline Avenue. • A food court project called Eats on Spokane Street is coming soon to property at the corner of Second and Spokane street in Post Falls. • A proposed Marriott Hotel would be on about a half acre at 602 and 612 E. Sherman Ave. The six-story hotel would include 131 guest rooms, 130 parking stalls among the main level and three levels underground, an administration area, a bar, kitchen, lounge, dining area, meeting area, laundry, fitness room and a rooftop patio bar.

• A new facility for Peak Health and Wellness Center is under construction at 4425 N. Fennecus Road in Post Falls. It will move in August from 927 E. Polston (Suite 101). The new place will include eight indoor and eight outdoor pickleball courts, strength equipment, cardio and group fitness, a kids club, juice bar, pro shop and full locker room.

• The Goodwill store on Fourth Street will reopen in the summer with a $3 million remodel.

• DOMA Coffee Roasting Company will open a cafe in the 3,000-square-foot main floor in the new building off the Centennial Trail at 3091 S. Atlas Road.
