Kite Festival to soar above city of Hayden

HAYDEN — The Hayden Kite Festival is scheduled noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Broadmoore Park, 2691 W. Broadmoore Drive.
Registration and kite flying will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. with judging from 1:30 to 2 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m.
Categories include best in show, high flyer, best homemade kite and more. The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages.
The city of Hayden will be handing out free kites.
