| May 7, 2024 1:00 AM

Early voting for the May primary election is available through Friday, May 17 at the Kootenai County Elections Office, located at 1808 N. Third St. in Coeur d'Alene.

Eligible residents of any county may vote at any of that county’s early voting locations. Those who are not registered to vote may do so and vote at early voting locations by bringing an accepted form of photo ID and proof of residence.

“Idaho voters can take advantage of early voting, voting absentee or voting on Election Day,” Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane said in a news release. “No matter what method you choose, I encourage Idahoans to make their voices heard and vote in the May 21 primary election.”

Races for U.S. representative will be on the ballot, along with Idaho state senate and Idaho state representative seats.

Also on the ballot are Kootenai County commissioner districts 1 and 2, as well as Kootenai County prosecuting attorney and sheriff. Precinct committee seats will also appear on the ballot in each voter precinct.
