Easter's on its way

Egg hunts aplenty will be found across North Idaho this spring. 

March 29

• Easter Egg Hunt at the Clubhouse | 4 p.m. The Clubhouse, 10724 N. Government Way, Hayden. Bring your basket. Photos with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunts split into three age groups. Retro Arcade will provide free game play. Prizes for each age group.

March 30

• Adult Easter Egg Hunt | 9 a.m. Vanhoff 's Garden Center, 1844 N. Government Way, Coeur d'Alene. Easter eggs will be hidden around the garden center with surprises inside. 

• Spring Festival and Annual Easter Egg Hunt | 9:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m. New Leaf Nursery, 12655 N. Government Way, Hayden. Festive activities for the whole family — garden art, photos with the Easter Bunny, children's crafts, bounce houses, face painting, pony rides and more. Local food vendors on site. Egg hunts for ages 3-12 starting at 10 a.m. Bring your own baskets.

• Real Life Traditional Egg Hunt |  10 a.m. Coeur d'Alene High School, 5530 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene. For families with young children birth through fifth grade.

• Eggstravaganza | 11 a.m. Majestic Park, 5400 W. Majestic Ave., Rathdrum. Free community Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny. Age groups: 3 and younger; 4-6; 7-9; and 10-12. Parking is limited, arrive early. Hosted by American Legion Post 154 and the Northwest Guardian Riders. Details: rathdrum.gov or 208-687-2399

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ | 1 p.m. Stub Myers Park, 8320 W. Fourth St., Rathdrum. Community appreciation barbecue at 1 p.m., egg hunt at 1:30. All ages welcome. Hosted by BATAA Motorcycle Club.

• Stardust Easter Block Party | 11 a.m. Stardust Motel, 410 Pine St., Wallace. For ages 0-12. Bounce house, food, candy, prizes, toys, two egg hunts (glow in the dark and outside), games and Mrs. Easter Bunny. Donations will be accepted for the Wallace Food Bank. Free. 

• Easter Egg Extravaganza | 1 p.m. Q'emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls. Hosted by Post Falls Parks and Recreation. Rain or shine. Gold ticket prize hidden in an egg for each division. Bring your own baskets. Toddlers, 1-1:10 p.m.; 3-4 years, 1:15-1:25 p.m.
5-7 years, 1:30-1:40 p.m.; 8-11 years, 1:45-1:55 p.m.; special and mobility needs, 2-2:10 p.m.

• Traditional Egg Hunt |  3:30 p.m. The Fields, Real Life Post Falls Campus, 1860 N. Cecil Road. For families with young children birth through fifth grade.

• Flashlight Egg Hunt |  8:15 p.m. The Fields, Real Life Post Falls Campus, 1860 N. Cecil Road. Fun, safe. For families with children kindergarten through fifth grade.

March 31

• Easter Egg Hunt | Silver Mountain Resort, 610 Bunker Ave., Kellogg. Eggs will be hidden around the top of the mountain when it opens. Eggs are first come, first served and will be hidden on ski runs only accessible by skis and snowboards. The hunt will begin as soon as the lifts start spinning. If you find a golden egg, bring it to guest services to claim a prize.

• Easter Egg Hunt | 12:15 p.m. The Vine Church, 9140 N. Reed Road, Hayden. Free egg hunt for children of all ages.
