DeBoer, a senior left-handed pitcher, had six strikeouts in three innings in the Trojans’ 12-6 win over Sandpoint on Saturday at Memorial Field. At the plate, DeBoer was 5 for 9 with three doubles, a triple and five runs batted in. “Austin had a fast start in our opening weekend,” Post Falls coach Kurt Reese said. “He was very disciplined at the plate and was really seeing the ball well. He really powered our offense.”
