Mountain West Bank promotes Young to senior vice president

Mountain West Bank has promoted Trevor Young, manager of its Coeur d’Alene commercial lending team at 101 N. Ironwood Drive in Coeur d’Alene to senior vice president.

He joined Mountain West Bank in 2018 and has 15 years of banking experience. He began his banking career in 2009 as a branch manager with Sterling Bank and then as a commercial relationship manager with US Bank prior to his current leadership role with Mountain West. His passion has always been helping business owners and investors grow their business and make sound financial decisions.

Young earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing as well as a master of business administration degree at the University of Idaho. He and his wife have lived in Coeur d’Alene more than two decades and are very involved in the community. Young has volunteered and supported a variety of local organizations throughout the last 20 years and is currently the finance chairman for the EXCEL Foundation.


Boekenoogen named Mountain West assistant senior vice president

Mountain West Bank recently promoted Scott Boekenoogen to assistant senior vice president. Boekenoogen is the branch manager of the 1323 Highway 2, Sandpoint branch. Boekenoogen joined Mountain West Bank in 2018.


The Braga Group named to 2024 Forbes ‘Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams’ list

Local Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Team, The Braga Group, was recently named to the 2024 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams.”

The Braga Group includes Troy Braga, senior vice president and resident director; Ashley Lenz, financial adviser; Tamara Boviall, registered senior wealth management client associate and Shawn Herring, wealth management client associate.

Braga was also previously named to 2023 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors.”
