LEWISTON — Sophomore Rocco White (98 pounds) was the lone individual champion for Coeur d’Alene, which claimed the team title with 214 points at the Clearwater Classic on Saturday at Lewiston High.

Sophomore Justus Peregrina (second at 106), freshman Carter Newby (third at 113), junior Will Rossi (second at 120), freshman Jordan Schield (third at 132), junior Logan Bradley (second at 138) and junior Colton Tucker (third at 145) also placed for Coeur d’Alene.

“Team wise, winning the tournament was good for the team,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “It was a good job by them getting the win without some of our better guys in the lineup. Rocco, he just went out and took care of business, wrestled hard and didn’t make mistakes. He’s a good little 98-pounder, and they’ve got to be pretty good to beat him right now.”

Kellogg freshman Colton Storey (106), St. Maries freshman Kelby Harvey (113), Kellogg junior Ricky Haralson (120) and Kellogg senior Kolter Wood (126) also won titles.

Kellogg was second with 177.5 points, followed by Lewiston in third with 149 points and St. Maries fourth with 143.5 points.

Coeur d’Alene senior Cara Brown (138) won in the girls tournament.
