The girls started the tournament with a draw (1-1) against Colorado EDGE United 2011. The Thorns' goal came from Kylie Lorona on an assist from Olivia Hynes. Later on Saturday the girls beat the Phoenix Rising Desert Foothills 12 Pre-ENCL 3-0. Kylie Lorona, Ava Langer and Mackenzie Dolan all scored and keepers Constance Ovendale and Mackenzie Dolan teamed for the shutout. On Sunday morning the Thorns North FC defeated La Roca FC 12G 4-0 in the semifinals. Kylie Lorona scored two goals, while teammates Olivia Nusser and Mackenzie Dolan each scored one. In the finals, the Thorns lost 1-0 to the Heat FC G12 Pre-ECNL.
