Registration open for Leadman 20

KELLOGG –– Registration is now open for the 20th annual Leadman Triathlon at Silver Mountain. 

Leadman is a Rotary event. In the past 19 years, the Kellogg Rotary Club and its sponsored have raised more than $182,000 to provide funding for community projects and nonprofit organizations such as health and wellness fairs, youth sports clubs, animal rescues, Special Olympics, the backpack lunch program and more.

Silver Mountain general manager Jeff Colburn said 100% of the proceeds from Leadman go to local charities.

The event is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20 and will begin on Kellogg Peak, where competitors will kick the race off with a 1-mile ski/snowboard run. Participants will transition into the mountain bike portion of the competition before capping the race off with 4-mile run to the finish line. 

Completion times have ranged between 50 minutes and about two hours.

There will be plenty of activities for families to do at the Silver Mountain base throughout the day.

Participants can register online or print out the entry form and waivers on Silver Mountain’s website and mail them to the address on the form along with payment.

Early bird pricing ends after April 7. Registration ends April 16.
