COEUR d'ALENE —  Emergency services for the city of Coeur d’Alene are operating normally, according to a press release from the police department today.

Because of a cyberattack on the city’s computer network, some communication methods are not working, the release said.

On Sunday morning, city IT professionals were made aware of a cyberattack on the city’s computer network, the release said.

As a result, many functions of the computer network were taken offline, including the city’s website services and landline phones, and remain down.

The police department’s landlines are operating normally and citizens can contact the front desk.

If you have an emergency, call 911. If you have a non-emergency situation, call 208-769-2320 for the front desk or 208-446-1854 for dispatch.
