She graduated from the University of Idaho in Music and often sang for churches and conferences. She was blessed to have a professional CD of music she wrote from The Psalms with the Garth Brooks backup singers performing with her while she was in Nashville, Tenn. She traveled extensively, having been to France and Israel during her career. She lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, for a few years as well, and was active in the Waikiki Beach Chaplaincy as a worship singer. She owned and operated the Sunshine Christian Bookstore on Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene, and also opened and operated a Bible bookstore in Honolulu for the Waikiki Chaplaincy when she lived there.

Rosalie was beloved by many for her faith, love, and kindness. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

Rosalie was married to Robert L. Storment (Stormy) of Post Falls, 89, and resided there with him until recently. She was moved to Petersen House in Hayden on Dec. 22. She suffered from Alzheimer’s for years.

Rosalie was the founder of A Company of Women International and Praise Publishing. An ordained minister, the organizations grew to encompass Western and Eastern states and countries as far away as Africa and Australia. She was the author of several Christian Devotionals, one of which was a 365-day book called “When God Speaks to My Heart.” She hosted conferences yearly until her health precluded being able to do it.

Rosalie is survived by her spouse, Stormy; daughter and son-in-law Shanette and Reggie Gaines of Wilsonville, Ore.; brother Jack Bishop of Twin Falls; niece Therese in Minnesota, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister JoAlta and niece Tirza.
