DOWNTOWN: When will development stop?

I am writing this to ask, who in the city government owns stock in Marriott Hotel?

By next spring or summer, Cd’A will have three Marriotts within 2 miles. From downtown on Sixth and Sherman to the two Marriotts on the south side of the freeway.

We will also have an 18-story condominium on Fourth and Sherman. And don’t forget ... Hagadone is hiding “something big” on First and Sherman soon.

We’ve lived downtown for 20 years. I’ve seen so many changes in downtown. Cd’A is definitely not a small town anymore. Does anybody in the city government care?

Or is it all about the money? When will it stop? When is enough, enough?
