PREP ROUNDUP: Strong showing for Post Falls boys, girls in Lakeland Invitational

TRACK AND FIELD

RATHDRUM — Gio Carlino (100, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay) and Cobe Cameron (200, 4x200 relay, 4x400) notched wins for Post Falls, which ran away with the boys team title at the Lakeland Invitational on Thursday afternoon.

Post Falls finished with 265 points, followed by Lake City with 104.

Kinlee McLean, who has signed with Boise State, won the 200, 400, 4x200 and 4x200 for the Post Falls girls, who also won with 184 points.

Karstyn Kiefer, who won in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, as well as 4x100 relay, helped Lakeland’s girls to second with 135.5 points.

Swallows, Korasick medalists; St. Maries sweeps at Galena Ridge

KELLOGG — Seth Swallows shot a 1-under-par 69 to lead St. Maries to the team title at the Galena Ridge Invitational at Galena Ridge Golf Course.

Kendra Korasick of Kellogg was girls medalist with a 91. St. Maries’ girls won by seven strokes over Kellogg.
