Lewis-Clark State track and field

Gordon, a senior from Lake City High, was named Cascade Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week after running the No. 2 800-meter run time in the NAIA this season, finishing in 1 minute, 50.62 seconds at the Cougar Classic last Saturday in Pullman. The time, the second fastest in program history, leads the conference by more than one second. It is his second weekly award this season and third of his career.

Marcus Manzardo

Central Washington baseball

Manzardo, a junior infielder from Lake City, is batting .357 (56 for 157) with 38 runs scored for the Division II Wildcats of Ellensburg, Wash. Central Washington is 19-21, 13-11 in Great Northwest Conference play.

Kyle Manzardo

Columbus Clippers

Manzardo, an infielder from Lake City High and Washington State, is batting .292 (21 for 72) with five home runs and 12 RBIs for the Clippers, a Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. Manzardo has a .379 on-base percentage.

Shell, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, was second in the 1,500-meter run at the Cougar Classic, finishing in 4:44.23 last Saturday in Pullman.
