Linda Jo Hedberg Sims, 59

Linda Jo Hedberg Sims was born July 29, 1964 to Jim and Margie Hedberg. Linda died April 12, 2024, after battling cancer. 

Linda was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1982. She enjoyed friends, family, camping, crafts, gardening and spending time at the lake. She had a soft spot for her furry friend, Rocky. On Wednesdays, you would find her volunteering in the community. 

She is survived by her mother, Margie Hedberg, sisters Debra Hedberg (Lee Waddell) and Kelly Hedberg Gaines (Mark Gaines), son Lance Sims (Jakayla Sims), granddaughters Cailyn and Huntley, and nieces/nephews Christian, Jackson, Rebekah and JJ.

Linda wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sarkis, who cared for her over the years, and Lisa and Lacey from Hospice for supporting our entire family at the end.

The memorial will be at the English Funeral Chapel on April 27 at 2 p.m. at 1133 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d’Alene.
