'Idaho Gives' ready to help nonprofits

COEUR d'ALENE — Idaho Nonprofit Center's "Idaho Gives" is scheduled April 29 in Coeur d'Alene.

"We're thrilled to kick off the Idaho Gives fundraising campaign here in North Idaho," said Dr. Sarah Lynch, coordinator. "This event presents a fantastic opportunity for nonprofits to connect with the public and raise awareness for their causes."

The kick-off event will feature a barbecue with beverages, providing a casual atmosphere for attendees to learn about the participating nonprofits.

Some of those include Chorale Coeur d'Alene, Autism Society of Idaho, HomeShare Kootenai County, Inc., North Idaho Pride Alliance, United Way of North Idaho and Family Promise of North Idaho.

Idaho Gives is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Human Rights Education Institute.
