Former Coeur d'Alene High pitcher Paddack earns WCC honor

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Gonzaga junior Liam Paddack, a transfer from Community Colleges of Spokane, was named West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Paddack, a left-hander from Coeur d'Alene High, completed seven shutout innings, allowing three hits while striking out a season-high 10 in Gonzaga's 8-0 win last Saturday at San Francisco. 

Paddack is 2-3 with a 4.98 ERA and a team-high 54 strikeouts in 43.1 innings for the Zags (14-18, 10-2 WCC), who have won eight straight.

Coeur d'Alene High football parent meeting set for Thursday

A meeting for parents of students entering grades 9-12 in the coming school year who are interested in playing football at Coeur d'Alene High is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. in the team room above Jordan Court at CHS.
