HAYDEN — Coeur d’Alene junior Grant Potter defeated Lake City freshman Trey Lambert in a playoff to earn medalists honors at the Jim Kraus Invitational at Avondale Golf Club on Friday.
Potter beat Lambert with a par on the 18th hole for the win.
Coeur d’Alene won the boys team title with a 311.

HAYDEN LAKE — Lewiston’s Mollie Seilby earned medalist honors with a 5-over 72 at the Sue Mitchell Invitational at Hayden Lake Country Club.
“We had several girls out and withdrew today as we’re fighting an illness,” said Coeur d’Alene girls coach Jeff Lake, who two of his five varsity players withdraw. “We look forward to getting better and getting back at it next week.”
Area teams will compete in the Sandpoint Invitational on Monday at The Idaho Club.
