EVIL WINNING: Jesus is the answer

Are you familiar with the Book of the Dead? You might remember the scene in “The Mummy” when they read from it and the killing starts. There’s a part of the internet I will never dive into for fear of its inevitable consequences. You might know it as the “Prosperity Doctrine.”

Jesus might not have ever actually read from the Book of the Dead, but he did travel to Egypt as Judea’s most wanted. He probably learned quite a bit about the people who were practicing the worship of the Pharaohs since the Age of the Pyramids.

I can image his anger when returning to the holiest of Judaism’s temples, rising ever larger since Moses in the name of what biblical scholars call “his bloodline.” Priests using Caesar’s money and swords. Rich men openly flaunting the prime sacrifices in front of disabled beggars. Every word you speak questioned as if you were still being hunted. Everyone is willing to find someone who will sell you out, even the highest of politicians and religious leaders. What would the Son of God do?

I’d tell you what I would do. Ask my Heavenly Father to get me the hell out of there and burn it all down. Before I left though, I’d remind everyone not one stone will be left unturned if this crap ever happens again.
