COVID: Say no to masks, ‘scary stats’
Unless you look deeper than what is fed to us via the ‘legacy media,’ you will miss many significant provable facts that these outlets fail to report regarding COVID. Unfortunately, it’s a time consuming process requiring independent thinking. It also necessitates the ability to recognize government censorship, collusion, politicalized science, and manipulation of the public.
Throughout the pandemic, The Press was guilty of subtle reader manipulation by prominently publishing daily ‘scary stats’ detailing local hospital admissions, positive COVID test percentages, and deaths (with or from COVID?) Did that really accomplish anything aside from keeping people afraid?
The largest study regarding masking, from the highly respected Cochrane Library, concluded that they make almost no difference to the spread of the virus (https://www.cochranelibrary.com/cdsr/doi/10.1002/14651858.CD006207.pub6/full). Not surprisingly, insecure mask lovers have mercilessly attempted to discredit the authors.
Beyond their ineffectiveness, masks are antisocial, uncomfortable, abnormal, undignified, and, yes, even an unnecessary expense. Nevertheless, I will defend your right to wear them; just defend my right not to do the same.
Let me be clear: If your business or organization ever mandates masks, I (and others) will not comply. Expect more organized civil disobedience this time. Furthermore, mandatory masking of healthy children is abominable.
If enough citizens take a stand, unelected authoritarians will be forced to retreat.
Wash your hands, stay home when you’re sick and stop incessantly testing for COVID. Unless you permanently shelter in place, you will likely eventually contract it. We just have to learn to live with it.
