Outage set for Avista customers in Spirit Lake

SPIRIT LAKE — Nearly 1,800 Avista electric customers in Spirit Lake will experience a planned power outage next weekend.

The outage will begin at 10 p.m. Sept. 24 and end at 6 a.m. Sept. 25, according to a press release.

During this time, Avista crews will be performing maintenance to their transmission lines in the area.

Traffic control will be in place. No road closures are expected during this outage.
