Fraud roadshow coming to Cd'A

COEUR d'ALENE — The Idaho Department of Finance's Fraud and Senior Financial Exploitation and Prevention Roadshow is coming to Coeur d'Alene.
It aims to educate seniors, adult family members and caregivers on best practices to protect against financial crimes targeting vulnerable adults.
The event is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
AARP Idaho and the Idaho Commission on Aging — Adult Protective Services will also share information and resources to help Idahoans prevent, identify and report financial crimes and abuse, and update state efforts to combat this activity.
Refreshments, gifts and prizes will be available.
Registration is encouraged, but not necessary.
