PATTERSON: 'Farcicle dribble intended to incite'

This morning I read with great sadness the political opinion piece regarding NIC. How could the Press consider printing blatant misinformation regarding alleged intentions of past NIC board member Christie Wood? Obviously it’s farcical dribble is intended to incite politically ravenous people.

Christie did not file a complaint, it was the North Idaho Human Rights Taskforce which reached out to NWCCU.

Furthermore, Patterson’s claim that NIC board members attempted to rezone the college for commercial gain is categorically false. This claim has been shot down time and again for a number of reasons, but above all else, such a strategy would not comply with the intent of the land agreement entered into with the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.

The application for university zoning was a great move because it furthers the commitment for an educational corridor, not some crazy notion of coffee shops and condos to benefit well connected business people. I’ll bet Brad got a chuckle over that whooper. These lies must stop.
