Michele Valentine, 97

Michele Noemie Valentine was born May 26, 1926, to Henri and Edith Migeon in Saint Jean D'Angely, France. She had a younger brother, Claude, and a younger sister, Claudette.

She survived the Nazi occupation of France. She earned a master's degree at Oxford University in Great Britain. Michele married Franklin Wayne Valentine, they had five children: Dale, Danny, Wanda, Christine and Claudine.

Michele worked as a registered nurse for many years. She was also a very accomplished artist. Michele taught art classes and operated several different art studios. She was employed by Walt Disney Studios as an animator for a time and received a letter from Walt Disney himself, thanking her for her work.

After retiring, Franklin and Michele traveled a lot. They visited Europe frequently and for several years they ran tour groups to France. Franklin stayed by her side until Michele passed away Aug. 23, 2023.
