TRUMP: Being held accountable

Donald Trump didn’t lose the 2020 election. He gave it away.

He’d be nearing the end of his second consecutive term today if he’d done one simple thing … worn a mask. All he had to do was lead by example and show every American that he was on our side in the life-and-death struggle against COVID.

But he didn’t do it. Instead, he lied to us. He didn’t trust us with the truth. When he contracted the virus himself, he went to Walter Reed and had a team of ten doctors nurse him back to health. Then he gave himself a victory lap in a Secret Service motorcade around the block. And topped it all off by publicly ripping off his mask while standing on the White House balcony.

Donald Trump is not on our side. He doesn’t give a damn about us. He’s in it for himself. He’s a selfish, corrupt egomaniac. He’d shown it before COVID, but we excused it. We can no longer afford to be so forgiving. Another term with him in charge will mean an end to the “United” States.

Finally, this. Donald Trump is not being persecuted; he’s being prosecuted. The two words are not synonymous. There’s a difference … a big difference. He’s being held accountable for his actions, and he doesn’t like it. The message is that no one is above the law. No one.
