BIDEN ADMINISTRATION: ‘Bumpy road ahead’
Inflation is 3% and Biden’s goal is 2%. Just how’re they doing this? Yeah, raising interest rates so money is harder to borrow, therefore slowing down the economy, which theoretically lowers the rate of inflation. This brings misery for millions struggling to make ends meet. Sounds crazy to me. Two things (both self-inflicted) cause inflation: 1) high energy costs (fossil fuel) on which Biden declared war his first day in office and 2) printing trillions of dollars. Our national debt, over $22 trillion ($22,000,000,000,000) costs us well over a trillion dollars in interest per year. I know I’m not the only one thinking we may have a bit of a problem. Our debt is unsustainable. True inflation on goods and services we use regularly is more likely in the 30-100% range since Biden took office. The only solutions to lowering inflation without totally destroying our nation are oil independence and a balanced budget. As climate change hysteria and EV mandates kick in, everything will cost much more. But — we won’t complain about cost, we’ll just be happy to get it. The poor become very poor, the middle class feel as if they’ve been in a cage fight with a gorilla, and the rich are getting filthy rich. My recent local pocketbook shock — furnace filter $50; additional charge for toast with omelet (WHAT?); $24 for four scoops of gelato; $76 gas fill up… and on it goes. This administration keeps telling us how good we have it, that Joe, Fetterman, Feinstein are sharp as tacks, border is secure, Lahaina caused by climate change. If we question their lies, watch out. Folks, bumpy road ahead. Get ready.
