GOOKIN: ‘Set himself up’

It is very curious that Dan Gookin and the Coeur d’Alene Press left out critical details of my question to him at the KCRWF meeting on Thursday, Oct. 5. The full video shows that I said the following:

“So you have a lot of, um, ‘rants’ online and in one of those rants you said that the mothers and the women at the library that were reading the sexually explicit material into the record were GETTING OFF on reading that information. And so you said a lot of other things on your rants that were derogatory towards Christians, towards Republicans, towards a lot of people in our community. And my question for you is how do you reconcile that with yourself? How do you reconcile that with the community, the public? Because a lot of the things that you say up here is quite different from a lot of those things that you’re saying on the ‘rants.’”

Dan Gookin claims his rants are his private life, they are public. If you offend in public, it will be addressed in public. Dan also falsely claims that he was “set up” in the Coeur d’Alene Press article, “Gookin under fire, fires back.” He makes a lot of false claims. None of us ladies who asked questions discussed our questions in advance. Those came from the heart and spontaneously. Dan set himself up by saying the kinds of things he says in his public rants.
