MINISTERS: Call to oppose film

Allow me to challenge Kootenai County religious ministers and leaders to strongly oppose the newly released showing of the movie, “Excorcist; Believer.” If it cannot be banned, then I believe the most effective way to reduce its impact is to get the Rating changed from “R” to “X” or “Double-X.” Precedent for this was set in the Norfolk, Hampton Roads, Va., area in the mid-1970s when the original movie “The Excorcist” was released as church ministers got the rating changed. This is an excellent opportunity for us to stand up and fight against a strong evil intrusion into our community.
