Free car washes for first responders

COEUR d’ALENE — First responders can get a free car wash later this month as a token for thanks for all they do.

Metro Express Car Wash will offer the complimentary service on National First Responders Day, Oct. 28.

“First responders, including firefighters, police officers, emergency medical personnel and paramedics, play a pivotal role in keeping our communities safe,” said a news release issued by the business. “Their commitment to serving and protecting us, often at great personal risk, deserves recognition and gratitude.”

Metro Express Car Wash has two locations in Kootenai County: 3131 Conference Drive in Coeur d’Alene and 4041 E. Primrose Lane in Post Falls.
